Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Cribble ("Cribble", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Cribble website, mobile application, API, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing the Service, creating an account, connecting your wallet, or using any feature of Cribble, you confirm that: (a) you have read and understood these Terms; (b) you are at least 13 years old; (c) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and (d) you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you access Cribble from outside the Philippines, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Cribble provides an AI-powered search engine optimized for Filipino content and Philippine languages, including but not limited to English, Tagalog, Bisaya, Ilocano, Kapampangan, and other regional dialects. The Service includes:

• Web and knowledge search with AI-generated answers and source citations
• Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) responses grounded in indexed web content
• $CRIB token-gated Pro features including higher rate limits, priority freshness, and early access
• Solana wallet integration for subscription and staking management
• Developer API for embedding Filipino search into third-party applications
• Supplementary tools including AI Builder, Crib Edu, Startup Builder, and Token Launcher

Cribble reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes in advance.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. You must not be a person barred from using the Service under the laws of the Philippines or any other applicable jurisdiction.

By using Cribble, you represent and warrant that you are not: (a) located in a country subject to a Philippine government embargo; (b) listed on any Philippine or international government list of prohibited or restricted parties; or (c) otherwise legally prohibited from using services of this nature.

Some features of Cribble require you to create an account or connect a Solana wallet. When you do so, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and wallet private keys
• Notify us immediately at hello@cribble.ph if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account or wallet
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits, bans, or usage restrictions

You are solely responsible for the security of your Solana wallet. Cribble will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Any message or email requesting your seed phrase is fraudulent and should be reported immediately.

You may use Cribble only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service to find accurate, helpful information in Philippine languages and to contribute positively to the quality and trustworthiness of Filipino internet search. You may:

• Search for information, news, educational content, and general knowledge
• Use the API to build applications that serve Filipino users, subject to API terms
• Participate in community governance as a $CRIB token holder
• Share search results with proper attribution to the cited sources
• Provide feedback to help improve search quality and relevance

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

1. Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, including the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (RA 10175) and the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act
2. Submit queries or content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, pornographic, or harmful to minors
3. Attempt to circumvent security measures, authentication systems, or rate limits through technical manipulation
4. Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service without prior written permission from Cribble
5. Conduct or facilitate distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or any other disruptive activity
6. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the Service
7. Use the Service to spread misinformation, propaganda, or content designed to deceive the public
8. Impersonate any person, organization, or entity, including Cribble personnel
9. Harvest or scrape personal data about other users without their consent
10. Use Cribble search results to train competing AI models without express written permission
11. Engage in market manipulation of the $CRIB token using information gained through the Service
12. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
13. Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
14. Use the Service in any manner that damages, disrupts, or imposes an unreasonable burden on the Service infrastructure

Cribble integrates the $CRIB utility token on the Solana blockchain. By participating in $CRIB token activities through the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

7.1 Token Nature

$CRIB is a utility token that provides access to features within the Cribble ecosystem. It is not a security, investment contract, share of ownership, or financial instrument. Holding $CRIB does not entitle you to dividends, profits, or any ownership stake in Cribble.

7.2 Fair Launch

$CRIB was launched as a fair launch via Bags.fm. There was no presale, no VC allocation, and no private sale. Cribble makes no guarantee regarding the token price, liquidity, or availability on secondary markets.

7.3 Regulatory Risk

Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and are subject to change. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all laws applicable to your purchase, holding, or use of $CRIB in your jurisdiction. Cribble is not liable for any regulatory action taken against you in connection with your token activity.

7.4 No Refunds

All $CRIB token transactions executed on the Solana blockchain are irreversible. We cannot reverse, cancel, or refund on-chain transactions. Pro subscription fees paid in $CRIB are non-refundable once the service period has begun.

7.5 Service Continuity

Cribble reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Pro features at any time. If we discontinue a Pro feature that materially reduces the value of your subscription before the end of the subscription period, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a proportionate credit or alternative.

All content, features, functionality, design, logos, trademarks, service marks, and code comprising the Cribble Service are owned by or licensed to Cribble and are protected by Philippine intellectual property laws, including the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293), and applicable international intellectual property conventions.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any portion of the Service for commercial use
• Modify, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Use Cribble branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written consent
• Sublicense, sell, rent, or transfer your access rights to others
• Scrape or systematically extract search results or AI-generated content for training datasets

Search results contain content sourced from third-party websites. That content remains the intellectual property of its respective owners. Cribble does not claim ownership over third-party content returned in search results. Citations and source attributions are provided to respect and direct users to original content creators.

If you believe any content on Cribble infringes your intellectual property rights, please send a written notice to hello@cribble.ph with full details of the alleged infringement.

Cribble uses artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) to generate search summaries, answers, and analysis. You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, outdated information, or hallucinations despite our cross-check verification systems
• AI-generated content does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or investment advice
• You should independently verify information before relying on it for important decisions
• Cribble does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated output
• The AI systems may reflect biases present in training data; we continuously work to identify and mitigate these

Our cross-check verification system reduces hallucination by grounding answers in cited sources, but it does not eliminate all risk of error. Always check the cited sources directly for critical information.

The Service may display links to third-party websites, applications, or services. These links are provided as a convenience and do not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with those third parties. Cribble has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites.

You access third-party websites entirely at your own risk. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit through Cribble search results.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, Cribble disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, security, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Cribble does not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) search results will be complete, accurate, or up-to-date; (c) the AI-generated content will be free from hallucinations or errors; (d) the Service will meet your specific requirements; or (e) any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Cribble, its officers, directors, employees, contributors, or agents be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill
• Damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content
• Financial losses related to $CRIB token price fluctuations
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any matter beyond Cribble's reasonable control

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, Cribble's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In all cases, Cribble's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Cribble in the 12 months preceding the claim, or PHP 1,000.00, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cribble and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; (d) any content you submit to or through the Service; or (e) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Cribble may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of the Service, or legal requirements.

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by ceasing to use it and requesting account deletion at privacy@cribble.ph. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Specific laws that may apply include, but are not limited to:

• Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173)
• Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175)
• Electronic Commerce Act of 2000 (Republic Act No. 8792)
• Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394)
• Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293)

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to mediation before a mediator agreed upon by both parties. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved by the appropriate courts of Manila, Philippines, to whose exclusive jurisdiction the parties hereby submit.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date, posting a notice on the Service, or emailing registered users. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
